Reading defender Adrian Mariappa has reportedly arrived in South London to have a medical ahead of his proposed switch to Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace.<br /><br />The 26-year-old has yet to feature for the Royals in the Championship this season, amid speculation linking the player with an exit from the club following relegation from the Premier League last term.
According to Sky Sports, Mariappa's wish has been granted, and he has been allowed to travel to South London to have medical as well as agree on personal terms before his switch to the Eagles. <br /><br />The defender joined the Royals last summer, having spent seven years at Vicarage Road with Championship side Watford.
