Lille will this evening agree to sell youngster Florian Thauvin to Marseille in a reported 15 million Euro deal. The midfielder had attracted the interest of Premier League side Newcastle earlier in the transfer window.
The highly rated attacking midfielder, who only recently joined Lille back in 2013, has emerged as the primary transfer target for Marseille after the French club let their attacking midfielder Morgan Amalfitano join West Brom on loan. The 20-year-old will sign a five year contract with L'OM.
The French under-20 international is expected at the Stade Velodrome for talks this afternoon and a deal will be announced shortly after.
