Peter Odemwingie set for Cardiff City transfer

Cardiff City will win the race for Nigerian forward Peter Odemwingie's signature. The West Brom man has also attracted the interest of Swansea City, but Welsh rivals Cardiff are in pole position.

Odemwingie requested a transfer over six months ago and up until this point has stayed with the Baggies after the club rejected several enquiries for the forward.<br />

However, Cardiff have now matched their valuation of the forward and the player is now traveling to Wales to agree terms on a transfer.
