02 September 2013 - 14:34

Getafe striker Alvaro Vazquez has been linked with a move to the Premier League to link up with Swansea City. The 22-year-old has also attracted some interest from other Spanish sides, with Valencia also believed to be in the race for the striker.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • The Spaniard is reportedly Michael Laudrup's top transfer priority before the transfer window slams shut at 11:00pm this evening, with some suggesting that forward Michu's future at the Swans in some doubt.

However, Laudrup has been hinting at a move for a new striker for some time, and appears to have given up on a move for WBA's forward Peter Odemwingie.

Vazquez joined Getafe from Espanyol back in 2012 and has since gone on to score 4 league goals for the Primera Liga side.
