Bristol City boss denies having received offers for striker Baldock

02 September 2013 - 15:24

Football League One side Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll has dismissed reports that the club has received an offer for striker Sam Baldock.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • The 24 year old striker has been the subject of interest for Blackpool and there were reports that a bid has been tabled for the Bristol top scorer this season.
However, O'Driscoll vehemently rejected any such suggestions and insisted that any offer made for Baldock has to be too good to turn down.
He told BBC Radio Bristol: "Nobody has contacted me, I'm not sure where that came from. We're not looking to shift people out as I don't think we can - our squad is that lightweight. It would have to be an offer we can't refuse."
