Dossena delighted to be back in the Premier League

<strong>Former Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena has expressed delight after securing his move to the Premier League side Sunderland on transfer deadline day.</strong>

The Italy international completed a switch to the Black Cats on the transfer deadline day from Napoli. The full back had earlier spent 18 months at Anfield before being sold to the Serie A side back in 2010.<br />

The 31 year old is excited to be working with an Italian manager and had words of praise for the English domestic league.<br />

"I'm very happy because I start to work with (an) Italian head coach and I know his kind of football, his kind of work; he worked hard and tried to do his best on the pitch and it's the same from my career.<br />

"The Premier League is the (most) beautiful league in the world. I left in 2010 and now I come back because I think that I can do my best for Sunderland."
