Adriano has had enough

Adriano has had enough

10 November 2007 - 12:54

Inter Milan striker Adriano has said that he has had enough of playing second fiddle in the Inter side after not playing regularly enough for the Italian side. The 25-year-old is believed to be looking for a winter move to the Premiership.

  • The 25-year-old has been out of favor for coach Roberto Mancini throughout the past couple of seasons, following his poor form and off the pitch attitude.

"I want to play and it doesn’t matter where," Adriano said in an interview with Brazilian radio program Rede Globo.

L'Imperator has been struggling with personal problems and addicted to drinking, which saw him retreat to fifth choice striker in the Inter roster.

However, Adriano insists he has passed this phase and that he is waiting for a decision from the Nerazzurri officials regarding his exit.

"I haven’t been feeling bad and I’ve been playing well. Now I’m just waiting on a decision from the boss and the club," he added.

"I don’t want to dwell on the past and what has happened, but I started the season with a chance of playing and was then left out with no explanation."
