Jonjo Shelvey has apologised to the Swans' fans after making a couple of first half blunders which offered Liverpool a 2-2 draw against them at the Liberty Stadium on Monday night.
Playing for the first time against his former since his £5m move to Swansea this summer, Shelvey started off the scoring in just two minutes, but a couple of sloppy backpasses helped the Reds turn the game around by the half time interval.
The 21-year-old English midfielder did however redeem himself in the second half as he provided an assist to Michu who scored Swansea's equaliser in the 64th minute.

Shelvey was pleased that he made amends to his first half torrid display and was sad to have not seen him side get all three points on the night.
He told Sky Sports News: "I just want to say sorry to the Swansea fans for the two bad mistakes that have gifted Liverpool a draw.

"I really thought we deserved more than that. It started tremendously, getting the goal, but then two poor mistakes.

"I showed a bit of character to keep getting on the ball, and I set the next goal up, but I'm still disappointed."
