Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard heaped praise on midfielder Bruno Guimaraes following the 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The Gunners secured their 18th Community Shield title with a convincing win over the Cityzens. Odegaard was adjudged the man of the match after a brilliant allround showing.
Guimaraes had a solid debut for the Gunners in the centre of the park and Odegaard was full of praise for the summer signing in his post-match interview with TNT Sports.
He said: "I think he has been unbelievable since the first moment. He has been such a natural part of the team and you see his quality on the pitch, he is so good on the ball but he is also a fighter and he wins the ball."
Arsenal have made a statement with their convincing victory over the Cityzens in Cardiff and will be aiming for a similar outcome in the Premier League opener against Coventry City at home on Friday night.
