Marseille boss Baup ready to take on Arsenal

17 September 2013 - 23:42

Marseille's manager Elie Baup remained in confident mood ahead of the Champions League tie against Arsenal on Wednesday night, as the Frenchman told reporters that his side would not be afraid of the visiting London side.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip

  • Just two years ago these same two teams met in the Champions League as Aaron Ramsey scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute to defeat the French side. Ramsey is the name on everyone's lips at the moment having scored five goals in this campaign so far, but Elie Baup appears to be in a very confident mood ahead of the crunch tie.

Marseille's manager said of the visiting Arsenal side: "Why should we be afraid? We're going into this competition with a lot of ambition. A lot of us already experienced games against Arsenal and Dortmund two seasons ago. We're looking forward to it. I missed the Champions League last season."
