Manchester United's Jesse Lingard joins Birmingham City on loan

Championship side Birmingham City have completed the signing of Manchester United's Jesse Lingard on a one-month loan deal, according to the Daily Star.

The 20-year-old featured for the Red Devils during their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, where he showed his prowess by scoring a brace in his side's 5-1 victory over the A-League All Stars.



The club broke the news on Twitter insisting that Lingard would play for the Blues until 20th October. <br />

It read : <em>"MUFC and Birmingham City have agreed a one-month loan deal for Jesse Lingard.<br /><br />"He can play for the Blues up to and including 20 October."<br /></em>
