Fulham hopeful to agree extension with Sidwell

Premier League side Fulham have revealed that they are presently in talks with midfielder Steve Sidwell over a new contract.

  • The 30 year old hard working midfielder has become an integral part of Martin Jol's plans ever since he took over and the Fulham boss wants him to agree a contract extension with the Cottagers.<br />

    His present contract runs out at the end of the current season and Jol believes that he would prefer staying at the club.<br />

    "He's done well," Jol told the Fulham Chronicle. "We're talking to him to extend his contract.<br />

    "I think he wants to stay."
