West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has insisted that he will offer first-team opportunities to Ricardo Vaz Te this season.
The Portuguese striker had handed in a transfer request during the recently concluded transfer window, but he was unable to make a switch from the London outfit.
Allardyce has claimed that he would offer opportunities to Vaz Te as long as he merits to play for the Hammers.
Allardyce told reporters : "Ricardo has never had a bad attitude. What he is is a frustrated footballer. He thinks he should be playing on a more regular basis.
"Opportunities will arise. If he takes them, he will be in the team."
