The Portuguese striker had handed in a transfer request during the recently concluded transfer window, but he was unable to make a switch from the London outfit.<br /><br />Allardyce has claimed that he would offer opportunities to Vaz Te as long as he merits to play for the Hammers.<br /><br />Allardyce told reporters :�"<em>Ricardo has never had a bad attitude. What he is is a frustrated footballer. He thinks he should be playing on a more regular basis.<br /><br />"Opportunities will arise. If he takes them, he will be in the team."</em><br /><br />
