Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard has expressed his delight after scoring all four goals for the Blues in their 4-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
The 20-year-old striker scored all four goals for the Championship outfit over Sheffield Wednesday on his debut before coming off with cramp.
After sustaining the minor setback, Lingard hopes that the Blues allow him to feature for the League Cup encounter against Swansea City in midweek, if not allow him to play the next Championship fixture against Reading.
Lingard told City's official website: "I enjoyed it.It's a dream come true really. After the first goal my confidence was up and I just wanted to score more. I'm glad we got the three points which was massive for the club. I know they haven't got off to the best of starts but obviously I'm here to change that.
"Hopefully I can play against Swansea [City] but if not I'll be looking forward to Reading next week."
