Arsene Wenger pleased with Arsenal's performance

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised his players for their excellent display against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

  • The Gunners scored twice in a space of four minutes in the second half as they registered a 2-1 away win over The Swans at the Liberty Stadium.<br />

    The Frenchman told Sky Sports: <em>"There is nothing better than winning. The first half was quite difficult, we were slow in our combinations and Swansea were sharper than us.<br /><br />"It was a question of being patient without making mistakes. Afterwards, we were much stronger and playing at our level. We took advantage of the chances we have created. <br /><br />"We have substance in the team and we could see that today in the second half. We came out with purpose in our game and that was important."</em><br /><br />Arsenal are currently placed at the top of the League table with 15 points, having won their last five games.
