Serie A side AC Milan have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to acquire the signature of Valencia defender Adil Rami, talkSPORT reports.

The 27-year-old French defender is considered as one of the best defenders in the La Liga and had attracted plenty of interest from a number of top clubs during the summer transfer window.&nbsp;<br /><br />Adil Rami has been speculated of a switch away from the La Liga outfit ever since falling out with manager Miroslav Dukic.&nbsp;<br /><br />Arsenal are currently considered favourites to land the talented French International, but AC Milan have reportedly shown interest in acquiring the player's services and will now compete with the North London club for the defender.
