Rafael rules out Man Utd exit

Manchester United defender Rafael will not be returning to his homeland despite talk of a transfer to Corinthians. The Brazilian full back is still considered a first team regular at Old Trafford.

  • Rafael has been persistently linked with a transfer to Corinthians, but the player has now told reporters that he will be staying put for the time being.<br />

    "I am not thinking about leaving Manchester United, especially since I did well last season," Rafael told <em>Lancenet</em>. <br />

    "There is no reason to leave now, I am playing here, I am a starter and I don't intend to return to Brazil."
