Everton eye move for West Brom's Claudio Yacob

12 October 2013 - 00:49

Everton are reportedly interested in signing West Bromwich Albion defensive midfielder Claudio Yacob, as per TuttoMercato.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The Toffees Boss is looking to add more steel to his setup and could consider the 26-year-old Argentine International as the perfect option to buy during the winter transfer window.

Claudio Yacob joined the Baggies last July and has played a virtual part in Steve Clarke’s midfield ever since, scoring his first goal for the club against Arsenal last weekend.

It is expected that Yacob would welcome a move to Everton if they were to come for his services, as this could strengthen the tough tackler's chances of earning a more expansive role in the Argentine national side during next year's World Cup in Brazil.
