Crystal Palace chasing Abdisalam Ibrahim

14 October 2013 - 08:19

Norweigan midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace once the transfer window opens in January. The Manchester City reserve has been told he is free to leave the Etihad Stadium.

  • Chelsea banned from signing JJ Gabriel until December
  • Xabi Alonso pushing for Roma midfielder deal?
  • The 22-year-old has already attracted plenty of interest from Newcastle and Sunderland, but it appears the player would prefer a transfer to Crystal Palace where he would be guaranteed regular Premier League football.

Ibrahim is currently on loan back in his homeland with Stromgodset but that deal will finish at the end of December. Ibrahim is then set to return to England with Man City and will be put into the reserve team.

The Norway under-21 international has so far only played in one game for the Citizens but has spent time on loan at three different clubs, including Dutch side NEC and Scunthorpe United.

Man City have reportedly told Ibrahim's agent that he will be free to leave the club in January for a fee of around £400,000.
