Fulham could re-sign Mahamadou Diarra

Fulham could re-sign Mahamadou Diarra

18 October 2013 - 13:42

Fulham manager Martin Jol has insisted that he will re-sign midfielder Mahamadou Diarra, only if he is capable of proving his fitness.

  • Chelsea open to selling midfielder for £100m amid Real Madrid interest
  • Xabi Alonso to replace Arne Slot at Liverpool?
  • The Malian International was brought back to the Craven Cottage by Jol to train recently, having been released by the club earlier in the summer.

The 32-year-old midfielder recently featured in a reserve fixture but once again suffered an injury as he tried to make a return to competitive action. <br /><br />"Diarra was injured and went to Madrid; he had a little setback so we put him on a four week rehab schedule again to get his fitness back." Jol said.<br /><br />"The surgeon thought it was a good idea to put him on a four weeks rehab schedule, so we will try to get him 100 per cent fit again in four weeks and then we will make an assessment and make him a transfer offer."<br /><br />
