Man Utd inching closer to the signing of Remy Cabella

20 October 2013 - 01:21

Man United have received a huge boost in their pursuit of French playmaker Remy Cabella, as Montpellier are ready to listen to offers for the 23-year-old.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Montpellier boss Jean Fernandez was recently quoted in a report saying,  “He is an intelligent boy who is enjoying a good season.

“Now, if in the winter transfer window Manchester United offer €18m (£15m) as I have read, he must go.”

The Red Devils manager David Moyes will now be keen on acquiring the player's signature from the 2012 French Ligue 1 champions during the winter transfer window.

The attacking midfielder is considered as a suitable option to fit into the Red Devils setup, having seen the likes of Ashley Young and Shinji Kagawa struggle to make any impact at the start of the Premier League campaign.

It is expected that Cabella will be glad to make the switch to Manchester United, with the prospect of pushing his name up the ladder in Deschamps' list for his first senior cap for the French national side.
