Southampton playmaker Gaston Ramirez has alerted a number of Serie A sides on his eagerness to return to Italy during the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined the Saints from Bologna last summer on a club record fee of £12m under former boss Nigel Adkins, but has since then failed to cement his place in the club's starting line-up.
With Ramirez yet to be handed a full start in the Premier League campaign under manager Mauricio Pochettino this season, the Uruguayan is believed to be fearing the prospect of losing his chance to feature for his national side ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
Lazio, Napoli, and Inter Milan are keen on acquiring the player's services.
