Chelsea are eyeing a move for Wolfsburg youngster Julian Brandt during the summer, as per reports in Germany.

The Bundesliga outfit had recently stated that the 17-year-old had turned down a new contract with the club, and this has sparked interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.<br />

"Julian Brandt has turned down the offer to sign a new contract with VfL Wolfsburg," A club spokesman said.<br />

"As he is out of contract at the end of the campaign, Julian Brandt will therefore depart from VfL Wolfsburg."<br /><br />Die Wolfe would be due a compensation fee should the talented winger leave the club at the end of the season.
