Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a transfer offer for Hannover shot stopper Ron-Robert Zieler during the January transfer window, according to German newspaper Bild.
The former Manchester United man has established himself as one of the top goalkeeping talents in the Bundesliga with German clubs Schalke 04 and Borussia Monchengladbach also keen on acquiring his services.
Zieler who joined Hannover from the Red Devils in 2010, has a transfer release of £7m , and the Reds are keen on luring him to Anfield in order to provide competition to current number Simon Mignolet.
Liverpool will have to outbid the likes of Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach if they are to acquire Zieler's signature.
