Liverpool close to Will Hughes transfer

Premier League side Liverpool are reportedly inching closer to the signing of Derby County starlet Will Hughes.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been impressed by the youngster's exploits this season, and could make a transfer offer for the player during the winter transfer window.



According to The People, the good relationship between the two clubs following the departure of Andre Wisdom on loan to the Rams, has put the Merseyside club as favourites to acquire the services of the Under-21 England International.<br /><br />Derby currently value Hughes at £15m, and would be hoping to loan back the player, should he be transfered during the winter transfer window. <br /><br />Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in Will Hughes.
