Everton keeping tabs on Roman Eremenko

Everton are reportedly set to battle it out with Serie A side Fiorentina for the signing of Rubin Kazan midfielder Roman Eremenko, according to Izvestia.

  • The Russian newspaper Izvestia reports that the two clubs have been impressed by the performances of the talented star on the pitch and are prepared to make a move for the player during the winter transfer window.<br />

    Eremenko, who was born in Moscow represents Finland at the national level, and is considered one of the best talents in the Russian Premier League.<br />

    With Eremenko set to be out of contract in the summer of 2015 , the club would be willing to part ways with the player for an appreciable fee in the region of &pound;5m in the New Year.
