Aston Villa and Sunderland keen on Lewis Kidd's signature

01 November 2013 - 05:39

Premier League duo of Aston Villa and Sunderland are interested in acquiring the signature of talented youngster Lewis Kidd from Scottish giants Celtic during the winter transfer window.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Daily Star reports that the 18-year-old, who can either operate at right-back or midfield, has caught the eye of several clubs in Europe including Dutch champions Ajax, following his impressive performances for the club this season.

However, with the Scottish champions having sold some of their high profile players in Victor Wanyama and Gary Hooper to Southampton and Norwich City respectively, the club will be keen on tying down the youngster to a long-term contract to ward off interest from any potential suitors.
