Should Chris Coleman quit the national team job as manager of Wales in favour of a move to Crystal Palace, Welsh forward Craig Bellamy has been suggested as the new favourite to take Coleman's place.
Bellamy has suggested that this season might be his last as a professional player and that he would one day like to move into football management.
According to reports, the 34-year-old is desperate to manage his country some day in the future and the Welsh Football Association is ready to appoint him as player manager despite his inexperience in a coaching role.
Bellamy only recently retired from international duty and is ready to begin focusing on his coaching career at the end of his spell with Cardiff City this season.
