Hull City striker Sone Aluko is set to spend an extended spell of up to 10 weeks on the sidelines with a torn Achilles.
The Tigers boss Steve Bruce confirmed the news in a press conference, and this is considered as a big blow to the Premier League minnows, as they will be without one of their leading strikers until January.
The 24-year-old Nigerian International who had returned to the field of play, had been out of action for the club last season with a similar injury.
Hull City have made an impressive start to their Premier League campaign, and are currently placed 10th in the league standings.
