Llorente determined to make an impact at Juventus

09 November 2013 - 17:23

Spain international Fernando Llorente has confirmed that he has no intentions to leave Juventus this season and remains confident of making his way into Antonio Conte's first team plans.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The former Athletico Bilbao front man moved to the Stadio delle Alpi this summer on a free transfer but has failed to make a mark at his new club. The 28 year old scored a goal this midweek as he helped the Turin giants salvage a draw against Real Madrid in a Champions League encounter.

However, despite having scored just one goal in his last eight appearances, he is still confident of establishing himself at his new club.

"I've not been asked to leave," he told Radiogaceta de los Deportes. "What is being written in the papers is false. I have the complete faith of everyone at Juventus.

"It was not easy for me to adapt to the movement and play of the team, but I'm slowly managing to do what the boss wants.

"Once I have completely settled then everything will go well."
