Premier League giants Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle it out to land Malaga starlet Sergi Darder, according to sources in Spain.

The 19-year-old midfielder has had a brilliant start to his debut season with Malaga, and is considered as one of the breakthrough stars of the La Liga season, having already made 10 league starts for the Andalusian club. 



His displays have envigorated interest from England, with the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur keen on acquiring his services.



Spanish newspaper Diario Sur claims that the Premier League clubs would have to make a transfer offer above the £10m in order to lure the talented youngster to the World's elite football league.
