Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti laughs off talk of Italy job

23 November 2013 - 11:35

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has downplayed speculation linking him with the Italy managerial role after the World Cup next summer. Ancelotti took the job at the Bernabeu only last summer and has already been linked with his next role.

 • Chelsea ready to offload two marquee players?
 • Man Utd targeting summer deal for Benfica star
 • Ancelotti is said to be very flattered to have been linked with the managing of his country, but insists his main focus right now will remain on his current duties at Real Madrid. Ancelotti even went so far as to suggest Vincenzo Montella as a future manager of Italy.
The Italian quipped: "You never know what will happen, but right now I like coaching on a daily basis.
"My heir? There are a lot of good coaches around right now, but personally speaking I do like Vincenzo Montella.
"I like how his Fiorentina side play and I like how he deals with the media."
