  • The 31-year-old played a key part in the Bluebirds promotions to the top flight last term, but has failed to start a game this season. Ever since signing a contract extension, the former Cardiff captain has lost his place to summer signing Steven Caulker.

The Mirror reports that the Eagles boss Pulis, who was named Ian Holloway's successor last weekend, will try and lure the talented centre-back to Selhurst Park for a second stint.

Mark Hudson spent four seasons at Selhurst Park from 2004 to 2008.
