Man City move for Manuel Neuer

09 December 2013 - 15:35

Manchester City are preparing a world-record $45million for Bayern stopper Manuel Neuer. The move will make the Bayern keeper the most expensive keeper in history with a sum of £100,000 a week for his safe pair of hands.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The move will cast significant doubts on the future of the embattled English keeper Joe Hart who has been reduced to the bench after a string of high profile errors this season. With a world cup year in the loom, this inactivity to impact his chances for starting for the England team, who themselves have abundant talents. Manuel Neuer's move could be a significant coup for Manchester City with their deep pockets extending further more.

Bayern have refused to discuss the future of any of their players until the ongoing season comes to a close.
