Hull City have apparently been linked with a January switch for Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson during the winter transfer window.
The 28-year-old's current contract with Sunderland is set to expire at the end of the current season, which means he is likely to leave during the winter transfer window, as the Black Cats would not want to lose their player on a free transfer.
The Mirror reports that the Tigers boss Bruce, who signed the Swedish International for both Birmingham City and Sunderland , will launch a £5m bid in January hoping to land the player's services.
It is understood that Larsson would be willing to join Hull, as he is open to a reunion with his former manager.
Hull City are currently in 12th place in the League standings.
