Fulham are apparently monitoring Valanciennes defender Benjamin Angoua, with a view of making a bid of £1.8m for his services in January.

  • The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international is set to leave to leave the French club at the end of the season, when his contract expires and The Mirror reports that Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen is keen on securing Angoua's services come the winter transfer window.<br />

Angoua, who joined Les Atheniens from Hungarian club Honved three years back, is keen on making the Premier League switch in a bid to earn a berth in the Ivorian national squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil next year.
