Reports emerging from Scotland suggest that Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk is Interesting Premier League big hitters Arsenal and Manchester City. The 22 year old has been very impressive for the Scottish champions both in SPL and in UEFA Champions league.

Arsenal only have 3 recognized center backs at their disposal and Manchester city could lose the services of Joleon Lescott who is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a move away.<br />

The former Netherlands U21 international cost Celtic a fee of &pound;1.6 million in the summer but a move to the Premier League could cost suitors more than &pound;10 million.<br />

Since his move Van Dijk has made 26 appearances for the Hoops scoring three goals.
