Atletico striker joins Betis

Atletico Madrid’s Brazilian striker Leo Baptistao has joined fellow La Liga side Real Betis on loan till the end of the season. The 21 year old only joined the capital side last summer from Rayo Vallecaono.

The striker has found it hard to displace David Villa and Diego costa in the strating line up and has only made five league appearances failing to find the back of the net.<br />

Talking to the club&rsquo;s website this is what the Brazilian had to say,<br />

&ldquo;I have come to a big club with fantastic players,&rdquo;<br />

&ldquo;I am happy and eager to work to help the team in every possible way.&rdquo;<br />

Real Betis have struggled this season and are currently bottom of La Liga.
