Arsenal to bid for Draxler

Reports suggest that Arsenal are willing to meet the buyout clause for Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler. It has emerged that 20 year old has a £40million buyout clause in his contract.

Should a deal go through Draxler will become Arsenal&rsquo;s second high profile signing of the season after compatriot Mesut Ozil.<br />

Draxler who is certain to be included in Germany&rsquo;s world cup squad in the summer only recently signed a new deal to keep him at Schalke till 2018. However Daily Mail now report that the Gunners may make a move allowing the player to realize his dream of playing in the Premier League.<br />

Since making his debut for the Miners the German International has made 89 league appearances for the club.
