Reports suggest that Arsenal are willing to meet the buyout clause for Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler. It has emerged that 20 year old has a £40million buyout clause in his contract.
Should a deal go through Draxler will become Arsenal’s second high profile signing of the season after compatriot Mesut Ozil.
Draxler who is certain to be included in Germany’s world cup squad in the summer only recently signed a new deal to keep him at Schalke till 2018. However Daily Mail now report that the Gunners may make a move allowing the player to realize his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Since making his debut for the Miners the German International has made 89 league appearances for the club.
