Fulham to hijack Nani deal

<span class="apple-converted-space">Fulham are trying to hijack Manchester United winger Nani&rsquo;s proposed loan deal to Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese has been on the fringes at Old Trafford despite only signing a new five year deal in the summer.

<span class="apple-converted-space">New manager Rene Meulensteen wants to add to his squad to fight for their premier League status and has identified Nani as his preferred option.<br />

The Cottagers will make room for the winger by moving Costa Rican Bryan Ruiz to PSV Eindhoven. The forward has been ineffective since moving to London from FC Twente.<br />

The 27 year old has made 143 league appearances for Red Devils scoring 26 goals.
