Fulham to hijack Nani deal

Fulham are trying to hijack Manchester United winger Nani’s proposed loan deal to Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese has been on the fringes at Old Trafford despite only signing a new five year deal in the summer.

New manager Rene Meulensteen wants to add to his squad to fight for their premier League status and has identified Nani as his preferred option.


The Cottagers will make room for the winger by moving Costa Rican Bryan Ruiz to PSV Eindhoven. The forward has been ineffective since moving to London from FC Twente.


The 27 year old has made 143 league appearances for Red Devils scoring 26 goals.
