Real Betis interested in Man City shot-stopper

Real Betis are reportedly readying a January transfer offer for Manchester City's back-up goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon.

  • The 26-year-old Romanian international,who has played second fiddle to Joe Hart since joining the Citizens in 2012, has enjoyed a good run of games in the first-team this season.<br />

    According to AS, struggling La Liga outfit Real Betis are interested in the talented goalkeeper, who is believed to be keen on seeking a move in an attempt to play regular first-team football.<br />

    Real Betis are understood to be keen on signing Pantilimon on a temporary basis, with a view to a permanent transfer next summer, should the club beat the drop in the La Liga, come the end of the season.<br />

    Pantilimon has made 18 appearances for the Citizens so far.
