Nacer Chadli interested in loan switch

16 January 2014 - 08:52

Nacer Chadli is apparently willing to make a temporary move away from Tottenham Hotspur during the winter transfer window, in a bid to play regular first-team football.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The 25-year-old who joined the North London club from FC Twenter in the summer, is keen on plying his trade regularly for the second half of the season, in order to earn a berth in the Belgian national side for next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.

Chadli's agent Daniel Evrard has revealed that his client is keen on making a loan move, with a host of clubs interested in his services.

"His situation is not easy at Tottenham at the moment," Daniel Evrard said.

"The World Cup is arriving, so it's a problem. "For him to play at the World Cup it's important, so why not a loan?.

"We haven't spoken to Tottenham yet but I know there are clubs interested in him. It's very difficult for him because we've not seen the best of him at Tottenham. He has big potential so he is a little bit frustrated."

Chadli has been capped 18 times by the Belgian national side.
