Schalke preparing Lewis Holtby bid

Schalke general manager Horst Heldt admitted today that he could try and re-sign former midfielder Lewis Holtby from Tottenham.The German international has hinted that he would one day like to return to his former club but for the time being he is ready to stay at White Hart Lane.

We look at things and prepare in case we do decide to strengthen. We are still in contact with Lewis, we never broke that off. At the moment he doesn'ft feel completely positive about things in London. There is nothing more to say.
