Atletico Madrid Manager Diego Simeone believes the club must do everything in their power to land on loan Chelsea Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian has spent last three years at Vicente Calderon on loan from the London club.
Speaking to Spanish television the Argentine has this to say,
"Definitely. For me anything we pay for Courtois is cheap.
"He is a young guy with a huge future and is on track to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
"Signing a goalkeeper of his calibre would be a big step.
It won't be easy. It depends on what Courtois wants.We know what the club needs to do but it's not up to us, he's not our player."
The 21 year old has made 91 league appearances for the capital club and last season helped beat local rivals Real Madrid to lift the Copa Del Rey trophy.
