Real Sociedad manager Jagoba Arrasate has confirmed his interest in signing Valencia forward Sergio Canales the 22 year old signed for Los Che from Real Madrid in 2012.
Arraste was quoted in Mundo Deportivo but admitted that it could be difficult to pull off in January. There is also the issue of wages which are above the structure at La real.
Speaking to the newspaper he said,
"We are paying attention to his situation,";
"Canales is the kind of attacking midfielder were interested in.
"But there is nothing certain about him coming here yet.";
The player's father and his agent are expected to meet club's representatives to discuss Canales' future.
