Cardiff City have completed the signing of Norwegian midfielder Jo Inge Berget from Molde for an undisclosed fee.
The Bluebirds boss had earlier confirmed the he was in close contact with his former club Molde over the transfer of the 23-year-old, who had announced of his intention of leaving the Norwegian outfit earlier this week.
Berget has finalised a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Welsh club, and is likely to feature for the club in tomorrow's FA Cup fourth round tie at Bolton Wanderers.
Cardiff are currently at the bottom of the Premier League standings with 18 points.
