Capello ready for England

Capello ready for England

24 November 2007 - 13:47

Fabio Capello has opened up to the possibility of coaching England, after saying that "all challenges fascinate me." McClaren was axed after he failed to take the Three Lions to Euro 2008, and England are on the search for their new coach.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • "All challenges fascinate me, the challenge of coaching a national side like England would be something different. The job is not about coaching every day," Capello told Football Focus.

"It would be a very difficult challenge but a very exciting one."

The Italian coach, who has vast experience in Europe with the likes of AC Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid, was shockingly sacked by the latter last summer after guiding them to the Primera Liga title.
