Paul Lambert in new Contract talks

04 February 2014 - 13:29

Aston Villa have opened talks with Manager Paul Lambert over a new deal. The Manager arrived at Villa Park in 2012 replacing Alex Mcleish.

  • Chelsea consider £39m deal for Lens midfielder
  • Chelsea ready to battle Arsenal for Brentford star?

  • Chief Executive Paul Faulkner is understood to have opened talks with the Scotsman who is the middle of the three year deal he penned upon his arrival from Norwich City.

The club are determined to bring stability at the club which has seen tough times following the unsuccessful spells by Gerard Houllier and Alex Mcleish.

Despite being able to spend only limited of money some fans are unimpressed with Lambert. The club only narrowly managed to avoid relegation last season and are far from safe this season.
