  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Chief Executive Paul Faulkner is understood to have opened talks with the Scotsman who is the middle of the three year deal he penned upon his arrival from Norwich City.

The club are determined to bring stability at the club which has seen tough times following the unsuccessful spells by Gerard Houllier and Alex Mcleish.

Despite being able to spend only limited of money some fans are unimpressed with Lambert. The club only narrowly managed to avoid relegation last season and are far from safe this season.
