  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Fulham, Barcola & Munoz start

  • The club can now increase the capacity from the current capacity 47,620 to 62,170. The plan to increase the seating includes adding 6,250 seats at both ends of the ground and a further 200 seats in and around the pitch.

The expansion will not only create job opportunities for the locals but the appearance of both the North and East Stand will act as a prominent landmark at the club’s campus.

The decision on whether to add additional seats at the Etihad will be taken at a meeting next week. Should the decision get the go ahead Both the Manchester clubs will have the highest capacities of all the stadiums in England.
